Today we remember the soliders we lost in Normandy...

Those who flew and unleashed an airel bombardment...</p>

Those who manned boats to which enabled the amphibious attack...</p>

Those who ran out and met the enemy in battle face to face...</p>

To commemorate the soldiers who fought in this historic battle the charity Help for Heroes is holding a Big Battlefield Bike Ride where participants cycle over 300 miles across countryside of Normandy and Northern France to our finish in Paris from their landing in Normandy early on D Day, 6th June.
